Great live music Saturday night with football on screen .great service family fun and big group tables

Went to watch the Niner Game tonight. Decided to Yelp this place out. Was in the mood for a good sandwich and soup with a Coke. First time there and the place was big and clean and a lot of flat screens with Basketball games on and NFL Football games on. Plenty to watch and keep the customers happy. I decided on the Buddies Loaded Chopped sandwich and the bun toasted gave it that special touch of complete yum yum. The Minestrone soup!! OMG! The soup tasted homemade. It was steaming hot. Like it just came out of the pot and with the temperature outside at 50 degrees it hit the spot "My belly" and warmed me up for the Niner game. The place was not too crowded and sure it was going to get busier later. So, over all I am giving this place a 5 star review. Nothing bad or negative to write about. They have a big Pizza menu but I was not in the mood for a FOOD COMA so Sandwich and soup with a Coke and free refills hit the spot and was good for my wallet.

The pizza was pretty good. The bread wasn't too thick and the toppings tasted fresh. The service was excellent. The woman server who took care of us did excellent job checking on my table multiple times for refills and if we needed anything else. The inside of the place is clean and very new looking.

We actually went to Buddies Pub to watch the Uke Sisters, who were really good and fun to watch, but the restaurant itself was kind of lacking. It's a big open space that is kind of boring. And the acoustics aren't great. So, it gets super loud in there once you add all of the people and have music playing. The food selection didn't really sound good to us. There is nothing wrong with the menu, but it's very basic and we just weren't in the mood for pizza or pasta. However, we were hungry so we opted to share two appetizers. We had the mozzarella sticks which were fine. At least they didn't have freezer burn and didn't taste like they had been in the freezer forever. However, the Cajun Cheese Fries were awful. There is cheese listed in the name of the appetizer, but there was barely any cheese. The bacon was sparse as well. And the presentation was sloppy, at best. I went to the counter and asked for ranch, which they did give us for free so that was nice. I definitely do not recommend this appetizer. The waitress was nice but didn't seem too helpful when it came to picking a wine. She didn't really know what they had and the selection wasn't great. It was pretty busy, so maybe the food is good. For me, the experience was a 3 star experience, but since I didn't try their entree's I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and I gave them 4 stars for the review. I doubt I will be back, but if I do go back I will try an entree and update my review.

Hidden gem in San Jose. Has great live music, tap beers, pizza, bar food, nice clean seating, lovely ambiance and great service with warm hearted genuine smile snd hospitality. Great for one person and great for large groups too.

Unfortunately I have super mixed reviews. When the owners are here the service is good. When it's just the woman employee, she cares more about her phone than serving you. There's lots of seating and I can't for the life of my figure out what use to be here. The pasta is phenomenal and the pizza is great too. If you're looking for a good place for Italian turns out this place is pretty good!

Chicken Alfredo was amazing! Just the right amount of cheesy and creamy and tender fettuccine. Had a friend's birthday gathering here and they were so incredibly attentive and kind which we very much appreciated. Local older musicians were sweet as well.
